The State of Kansas,
County of Leavenworth,
    In the Probate Court in and for Leavenworth County:

To Virginia Self, Margaret Calhoun, Martha M. Scrivner, Thomas Brown, Louisa Mellinger, Amanda Patton, Thomas Pierce, Orlena Brown, Henry Brown, Fanny Brown, Merilda Brown and Margaret Brown:
    You, and each of you, are hereby notified that the undersigned, the Administrator of said estate, has filed his petition in the Probate Court of Leavenworth County, asking that the real estate of said estate, being the following described pieces and parcels of land, lying and situate in the Leavenworth County, in the State of Kansas, to-wit: The east fifty acres of the north half of the northwest quarter of section twenty-seven, (27), in township seven, (7), of range twenty-one, (21), be, by order of said Court, sold for the payment of debts due by the deceased; and that the said Probate Court, has set said application for hearing on Monday, the 4th day of December, 1876, at 10 o’clock A. M., at the Probate Court Room, in Leavenworth City, Kansas, at which time you may appear, to show cause why said order for sale of said real estate should not be made.
